Life Sciences PA is pleased to announce the next program for Tell Me About Your Job. This new program, as part of our Diversity & Inclusion Initiative, continues bi-weekly on February 24 featuring:
Sameeha Hussain, Director of Global Marketing for Pompe Disease, Amicus Therapeutics
What is Tell Me About Your Job? This 30-minute, live online program is geared toward students. It will be held bi-weekly and will feature underrepresented individuals who will highlight their career path, explain their roles and associated responsibilities, and answer questions to help audiences learn more about the opportunities within the life sciences industry.

About Sameeha Hussain:
Sameeha Hussain is the Director of Global Marketing for Pompe Disease at Amicus Therapeutics. She has strong background in global launches for biologics throughout her career, including a variety of roles in global commercial development and in-country marketing for major pharmaceutical companies. Sameeha strongly believes that marketing is a behavioral science rooted in the art of creating sustainable brand value.
Sameeha began her career leading multichannel marketing research and digital marketing with healthcare professionals and patients/caregivers for advertising giant, Ogilvy CommonHealth, and switched career paths into different pharmaceutical marketing roles at companies such as Pfizer, Baxter, Shire and Melinta Therapeutics. She has worked across several therapeutic areas including Orphan and Rare Diseases, Vaccines, Hematology, Transplant, Cardiovascular Health and Anti-Infectives.
Sameeha holds an MBA with a Certificate in Healthcare Policy and Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and both a Master of Communication and Information Science (MCIS) and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Rutgers University.
In her spare time, Sameeha enjoys fancy tea parties and opening pretend restaurants with her two young daughters.
