Life Sciences PA is pleased to announce the next program for Tell Me About Your Job. This new program, as part of our Diversity & Inclusion Initiative, continues bi-weekly on February 10 featuring:

Aida Fantaye, Senior Manager of Molecular Biology in the Life Sciences Solutions Group, Thermo Fisher Scientific

What is Tell Me About Your Job? This 30-minute, live online program is geared toward students. It will be held bi-weekly and will feature underrepresented individuals who will highlight their career path, explain their roles and associated responsibilities, and answer questions to help audiences learn more about the opportunities within the life sciences industry.

This program is offered completely complimentary to students & LSPA Members!

About Aida Fantaye: Aida A. Fantaye is a Senior Manager of Molecular Biology in the Life Sciences Solutions Group at Thermo Fisher Scientific. She was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and then moved to Germany for college. She received her MSc and PhD from Martin Luther University Halle – Wittenberg in biochemistry and pharmacology.  Aida has over 20 years of experience as a Research Scientist in drug discovery and in in vitro diagnostic medical device development. She has led multiple projects at Stanford University, Arbor Vita Corporation, Affymetrix, Ancestry and Exact Sciences before joining Thermo Fisher Scientific to work on COVID-19 diagnostic tests.
